When we have leftovers, I place them on containers and store them inside the fridge so that we can eat it again for the next meal. We have food containers at home but the problem is, the lids are often missing. When I received the EZ-Lid, I looked forward to trying it because these can serve as lids for food containers. Here is a quick product description from the company:

EZ-Lids are reusable food-grade silicone lids that create an airtight seal. It's the  perfect way to store food or reheat food.

To use simply place the EZ-Lid food cover on a smooth surface container like ceramic or melamine and then push down. That's it.

Overall EZ-Lids are a great addition in the kitchen.

The EZ-Lid Silicone lid and food cover arrived in a simple plastic packaging. This came in a set of 2. The blue one measures 10.5 inches in diameter while the pink one measures 6 inches in diameter. One side of the EZ-Lid is smooth while the other one has a small handle.

The EZ-Lid Silicone Lid and food cover is perfect to use on our containers with missing lids. For containers like melamine or ceramic, the smooth side forms an air-tight seal when I push the lid down and lift it up using the small handle. I can even lift the container using the handle of the EZ-Lid with a small amount of food inside with no problems.

Aside from that, I also like how I can use this as a microwave cover. It works well to protect against splatters and splashes when I'm heating something in the microwave.

These lids are easy to clean as well because they have a non-stick feature. Since they're super thin, they're easy to store as well. This works as it should and I like that I can use them to cover left over foods.

Vivree Set Of Two High Quality Silicone Tongs Review

When I was younger, I remember my grandmother and my mom using the all-stainless-steel kitchen tongs when they cook or grill. I remember they had to use mitts because they said the handle would get very hot specially during extended use over the flame. When I received the Vivree High Quality Silicone Tongs, I was super excited to try it because this is honestly the first time I'll try these types of tongs.

The Vivree High Quality Tongs came in 2 different sizes: a 9 inch silicone tongs and a 12 inch silicone tongs.

The handle is made out of stainless steel and has a silicone donut ring to lock the tongs as well as hang it for storage.

Both sides of the Vivree Silicone tongs has a silicone strip which makes it easy to grip and hold the tongs properly.

The shorter tongs for me is perfect to use when I'm cooking over the stove using a pan while the longer one is perfect for grilling.

I like using the Vivree Silicone Tongs when I'm frying because the silicone tip doesn't scratch our non-stick pan. It is easy to pick up and turn pork chops but a bit more hard to turn fried foods like spring rolls because they tend to be slippery.

I like that the handles doesn't get hot because the silicone tips doesn't absorb the heat so the heat doesn't transfer to the stainless steel handle. The stainless steel handle is durable and strong but is light.

These tongs are easy to clean as well and I like that they're easy to use and made cooking and grilling easier. These are also versatile because I can use them to serve salad, pasta and other food like cupcakes and fruits.

Sunsella Pastry Chopper And Slicer Review

 I don't bake bread or make dough at home but I chop, slice, dice vegetables and meat when I cook. When I received the Sunsella Pastry Chopper and Slicer, I meant to try this when I chop, slice or dice vegetables and meat.

The Sunsella Pastry Chopper and Slicer arrived in a white box. The pastry chopper and slicer measures 6 inches in length and 4.25 inches in width. I like that there is an etched ruler on the bottom edge of the Sunsella pastry chopper and slicer and since it's etched, I wouldn't have to worry about the measurements fading over time.

The black handle is made of rubber which helps me have a good grip on the pastry chopper/slicer. It also helps prevent accidental slips which is nice. It's easy to hold and has a groove for my thumb which helps me have a better grip and leverage on the chopper.

The Sunsella Pastry Chopper and Slicer has a sharp blade and I love how I can easily slice, chop and dice vegetables and thin slices of meat. I also like the broad stainless steel blade because I can use it to transfer sliced/chopped/diced vegetables and meat from the chopping board to the pan or separate container.

I like the versatility of this chopper because even though it's meant to cut dough or pastry, I can use this to cut/slice/chop/dice vegetables and meat as well.

 The bowl is big enough to accomodate medium sized lemons, limes and small oranges.

 The holes at the bottom of the bowl is effective in straining out pulps and seeds.

 Squeezing lemons, as well as limes and small oranges, are much easier compared to squeezing them by hand. The long handle makes it easy for me to use both my hands in squeezing the fruit. It does require a bit of effort on my hands and wrist but the effort I need is much less compared to using my bare hands.

 What I like about this is that it squeezes out the lemon effectively. I get more juice using this compared to using my bare hands.

It's easy to clean as well and the metal hook on the other side is nice so that I can hang this to dry or store in a hanging position.

Because I cook and prepare our food daily, I always use a cutting board to cut up meat and vegetables. I also use a cutting board to slice fresh fruits for our snacks and dessert. The cutting board measures 17 x 11 x 0.6 inches. It is heavier (weighs 2.5 lbs) compared to the silicon cutting boards I've had but this looks durable and heavy-duty.

The cutting board is also reversible which makes both sides useable. The side with grooves are perfect when I'm cutting meat and juicy vegetables so that the juices will not spill all over the counter. The side with the grooves has a cutting area of 13 x 8.75 inches while the other side has no grooves. The grooves are deep enough to catch the juices of the meat and certain vegetables I'm slicing/cutting which I think is really nice.

I also love the extra large size of the cutting board because I can slice bigger portions of meat as well. The cutting board is easy to clean and doesn't retain the scent of the meat/fish/vegetables I'm slicing/cutting here.

Kuuk Silicone Ice Cube Tray Review

We use plastic ice molds to make our ice cubes. There are times when the ice cubes are chipped or broken when I remove it from the plastic ice molds. It's not much of a problem but then, the smaller pieces does melt faster so our drinks get watery faster.

When I received the Kuuk Silicone Ice Cube Tray, I was excited to try it because this is the first time I'm trying a regular-sized ice cube tray.

The Kuuk Silicone Ice Cube Tray arrived in a set of 2. Each silicone tray mold can make 15 regular-sized ice cubes each (approximately 1x1 inch in size).

The Kuuk Silicine Ice Cube Tray came in a blue and green color, which I think are cute.

I like how whole and solid the ice cubes were when I popped them out of the Kuuk Silicone Ice Cube Tray. They were no chipped ice left on the bottom or cracked ice.

The ice cubes were also very easy to pop and slide out. The mold is a bit stretchy and it doesn't tear or deform even when I push the ice out.

The Kuuk Silicone Ice Cube Tray is also very easy to clean. I haven't tried to wash it in our dishwasher but the company says they are dishwasher safe. They're also BPA-free which I think is nice.

Using this is more convenient and easy for me compared to my plastic ice mold. I like it and will continue to use it.

Puna Digital Grilling Thermometer Review + Giveaway 4/13 US

It's almost grilling season because the weather has been warmer here already, not that we don't grill or broil our meat when it's not warm. :) I've had the opportunity to try the Puna Digital Grilling Thermometer and I was happy and looked forward on trying it.

The Digital Grilling Thermometer by Puna arrived in a simple packaging. It only has 2 parts which is the grilling thermometer and the plastic cover.

There is a table reference at the back of the packaging which lists the type of meat and the required internal temperature required for the different kinds of doneness of the meat.

The digital LCD display is clear and easy to read. The digital grilling thermometer is also easy to operate because there are only 3 buttons:
- Hold
- On/Off
- Celsius/Farenheit

The pointed metal probe is approximately 4 inches in length and the pointed part makes it easier to insert the probe into the thickest part of the meat. The hard plastic cover has a clip so that I can just clip the thermometer on our collar when either me or hubby is grilling.

The hard plastic cover also protects the metal probe when not in use and is also nice to keep the pointed part sheathed.

I like how light and portable this digital grilling thermometer is because I can bring it when we go to the park for a picnic. Cleaning the probe is easy to because I just wipe it with a damp cloth once the metal probe has cooled down.

I like how easy this is to use and how accurate it is. I tried to compare the temperature reading with my current meat thermometer and the reading only differs by less than 1 Degree Farenheit. I wouldn't have to guess if the meat is cooked already just by looking at it because with the Puna Digital Grilling Thermometer, I'm assured that the meat is already cooked by measuring the internal temperature of the meat.

Grill Master Gloves Grilling Gloves Review + Giveaway 4/18 US

We don't have a grill but we broil our food often. The trays become super hot when we broil our meat and fish that cloth mitts couldn't really protect my hands from the heat of the metal tray. It absorbs some of the heat but in most cases, the heat from the tray just seeps through the oven mitt, specially when I have to hold the tray for an extended period of time.

I've had the wonderful chance to try the Grill Master Grilling Gloves and was happy to have tried it.

The Grill Master Gloves Grilling Gloves came in a pair which is nice because I can use both my hands when handling hot trays from the oven.

According to the company, the Grill Master Gloves is certified effective until 925F.

Each Grill Master Glove have these blue silicone lines all over the gloves which helps grasping and gripping trays easier. These lines help prevent slips because they help in gripping the trays properly.

The Grill Master Gloves comes in 1 size only. It is a bit big for me but is still comfortable to wear. My sister (pictured above) has longer hands than me but it still fits her hand with lots more room for those with bigger hands. The gloves also goes past the wrist which is nice because it also protects my wrist from the hot tray.

The longer design of the gloves is perfect for those who are grilling because the heat from the grill can be felt on the wrist up to the lower part of the arm too.

Handling trays for an extended period of time also isn't a problem because the Grill Master Gloves protects my hands from the heat. The heat doesn't seep through that my hands would burn so I like that.

Using utensils while the gloves are on isn't a problem too. My fingers can move freely since the gloves has a 5-finger-glove design.

I like how thick and durable this is. Although a bit of sauce accidentally went on the gloves, it didn't seep through the Grill Master Gloves. I wouldn't dare to try it on purpose to spill hot liquid here though. A little liquid/oil wouldn't seep through but I don't think it's waterproof.

Overall, I like these gloves because they are comfortable to wear and has that close similarity to a cotton mitt. This is also perfect to use when grilling because it doesn't restrict the movements of my hands and fingers and is effective against heat.
