I've always loved to have extra charger/data cables for my gadgets because honestly, cable chargers doesn't last forever. I also like keeping an extra in our car so that I can also charge my device in the car when we're traveling.

So, I love trying out new cable chargers because I get to see if they work properly as well as keep them as spare charger cables. The Coosclub 8 Pin lightning to USB cable charger has a flat wire instead of a round one. The black USB is different because it's thinner compared to a regular metal USB. It goes in the USB port so it doesn't matter.

 The 8 Pin Lightning Connector is slim and I can use it even without removing my iPad mini's case.

The flat wire is nice because I noticed that this tangles less compared to a round-shaped cable wire.

The High Quality 8 Pin Lightning to USB Cable Charger by Coosclub works as a charger/data cable should work. I like that it charges efficiently and doesn't give me any error message when I charge my iPad mini. The length of this cable charger is 1 meter which is the same length as my original iPad mini's cable charger.

I like that this is cheaper than my original iPad cable charger but works very well.

King Athletic Resistance Band Set Review

Last year of January, I wrote a resolution of losing weight. Ever since January 2014, I've now lost 18.6 lbs and I've been trying to lose at least 5 lbs. more. Visit my blog post HERE to read about my resolution. :)

So, I've made modifications on my diet and I'm now working out regulary (Insanity, yes!). I've also started strength training but since we have limited space at home, I look for other ways to do strength training which doesn't require too much space as well as storage space. Exercise equipments wouldn't fit in our home and our apartment's gym has limited equipments, and usually, somebody else is using the equipments. I can't commit to going to a gym because I wouldn't be able to commit in driving to and from the gym regularly. So, when I learned about resistance bands, I was excited because I can start strength training at the comfort of my own home.

 The King Athletic Resistance Resistance Bands arrived in a drawstring bag. The bag contains the following:
- 5 Resistance Bands in the following color and resistance:
         - Yellow: 6 lbs
         - Blue: 10 lbs
         - Red: 15 lbs
         - Green: 18 lbs
         - Black: 20lbs.
- 2 Foam Handles
- 2 Ankle Straps
- 1 Door Anchor

The bag of resistance bands with all the accessories only weighs 762 grams. I like that it doesn't weigh much because I can bring it on the go as well. The drawstring bag included can be used as a storage bag or a carrying bag for the bands.

The different resistance in each band is nice as well because I can start off with the lowest resistance and work my way up until I can do the one with the highest resistance. During the first few reps, I felt like the bands aren't working but as I do more reps, I felt the resistance and I like how my muscles get a bit sore after doing a series of set.

The foam handles are soft and comfortable to use. I also like the ankle straps as well as the door anchor because I can also work my legs, thighs and other muscle groups. The bands are soft and smooth and are very stretchy. When unstretched, the bands measure approximately 39 inches.

Each resistance band has a metal clip on each side and I like how easy this is to attach and detach from the foam handles. There are illustrations on the drawstring bag, which are ways on how to use the resistance bands, for those who's just starting on resistance bands which I think is nice.

I like that these haven't snapped or broke yet and I like how I only need little space when doing the exercises using these bands. I also like how effective they are and that I only need a small space when storing them.

Non-Toxic Kids Face Paint By Beetastic Review

My daughters love it when I have their faces painted in face paint booths. Since it's not always that they have their faces painted, we usually bring them when we see one. They love picking their own designs and it's so cute how they feel giddy and happy while having their faces painted.

The Beetastic Face Paint glided smoothly so it was easy to apply the face paint on my daughters' faces. They didn't get any skin irritations which is great. The colors are also vivid and bright although I did have to mix some colors like pink and orange.

My daughters chose a rainbow, a sun, a cloud and a butterfly and although I'm not an artist, they were happy when they saw how their faces.

I like how kid friendly the Beetastic Kids face paint is. I also like how easy it is to apply, how quick it dries up and how it doesn't easily smear. Aside from that, I like how it washes off easily.

My daughters are super happy that I can paint their faces at home and I'm happy that this is safe for their skin.

It has 5 ports which I like because I can charge all our devices here.

It has a blue LED light indicator which means the USB desktop charger is working.

I like how portable and light the Liztek 5-Port USB High Speed Desktop Charger is. It's light and small enough to bring in my bag when we travel. I also like how I can charge my our devices in one place. All the ports are universal ports so I can just charge any of my devices in any of the ports.

MY REVIEW:

I've always loved books and novels about supernatural beings. I'm quite vocal about that and I've already read quite a number of books from this genre from different authors.

When I read the synopsis of the book, Maris: The Brotherhood Files, I was immediately intrigued by the book. The word sire and vampires had me curious about the book. When I read it, I was furhter intrigued by the characters of the book.

Aside from vampires, the book, Maris: The Brotherhood Files by Isaiyan Morrison, focused on Maris, a Deamhan (yes, not a vampire but a different class of supernatural being who also feeds on blood) who is also the main protagonist on the book. She holds the key or answer to the existence of all Deamhan so a lot of other classes of supernatural beings are also after her. There are also some Ancients and other Deamhan who vowed to protect her.

At first, I was quite confused by all the classes of supernatural beings there is in the book but, at the end of the book, there is a list and definition of all the classes of supernatural beings.

I like how Maris' character developed throughout the book and I can feel her feelings and confusion. As per her knowledge, that Deamhan can't love, I like how I felt her feelings for the Deamhans she bonded with, although she doesn't know it.

The book is also a bit graphic and more dark because the characters doesn't care for human kind and they feed on humans without remorse.

I like how unique and different this is from other vampire novels I've read and I like the twists and the complexity of the characters. This is a must read for fans of vampire novels.

MY REVIEW:

I love reading books to my daughters which teaches a lesson at the end. After reading the Let's Change That! If Animals Can, We Can, Too! book by Bashar Salame, I was impressed at how the author tackled a very important lesson in a simple manner which my daughters understood.

The illustrations on the book is very captivating and my daughters had fun looking at the illustrations while I'm reading the book. The colors are vibrant and clear and I like how well the story is written.

In a subtle way, this book taught my daughters how to be helpful to those in need and to ask others for help if we need it. It also taught my daughters how not to judge based on appearance and not to be so dependent on how and what most people think the norm is. It also taught about teamwork and to trust other people as well.
